Why does Martia ask about your country first?
Martia was built for Poland — integrations with mBank, ING, PKO BP, categorization tuned to Polish stores (Biedronka, Żabka, Lidl), ZUS contributions, annual tax filings. If you live elsewhere, some of this won't work or will work worse. We don't want you to discover that a week into using the app.
The new first step of the wizard asks directly: where do you live? If Poland, you continue down the normal path. If not — we add you to a waitlist for your country's version, show you what works today and what we're still building. No pretending the app is global when it isn't yet.
Why offer a call with the founder?
One step of the wizard offers 15 minutes with Adam, Martia's founder. Not required, but available in one click — pick a calendar slot, get the meeting link. Ask about features, report what's broken, tell us what the app should look like in six months.
The reason is simple: Martia is early, and every conversation with a real user shifts priorities. Most of the features you see today came out of exactly those calls. If you don't have time or don't like calls — skip the step and nothing breaks. The option stays available after onboarding too.
